Covid19 & Its Effects
Covid19 has affected each and every one of us in so many different ways. From the simple matters of day to day life to the more complicated side of things. We need to ensure we are being responsible, following government orders and restrictions, and doing our part in order to keep our family, and the potential future families of our puppies healthy and safe. We have had to adapt the way we do things, and work with the current climate as best as we can.
With the influx of current communications and applications, in addition to managing the daily tasks and level of care we need to provide to those we are caring for, it is taking extra time and there are delays in our current responses and communications. We please ask that families are patient, kind and considerate during this time. We apologise, we are doing our best, and appreciate your understanding.

Registered Breeders working together, striving to improve the quality, health and temperament, of household family pets. We are veterinary audited and approved breeders - where our dogs, are our pets. We commence early socialisation, and the dogs and puppies are a part of our family home.
On hand for advice and aftercare, providing families with guidance and ongoing support. This is a service we take pride and enjoyment in.
Puppies, re-homing, kitten adoptions, hand raised birds, services and more. Happy to assist families in making the right decisions, which may not be a dog of ours - however we will guide you in the right direction, for the most suitable pet.
RSPCA Million Paws Walk took place on the 15th May 2016. We invite all our Cottage Canines and their friends to join our team on the day, and for those who can, to make a donation. Donations have been made on behalf of our Cottage Canines. See the link below to track our progress

Cottage Canines are official RSPCA Animal Advocates, and donate every week in order to support them, the work they do, and the animals in their care.
Meet the Cottage Canines
Registered Breeders with puppies sometimes available, we also assist other breeders in finding forever homes for their dogs and puppies. Here are some photos of puppies we have previously found homes for, who are loving being a part of their new families.
What's better than having a dog? Having two dogs of course!
These are some of our families who have simultaneously gotten two puppies, or been so happy with their first Cottage Canine - have returned for their second...and at times, even a third!
Social Media Pooches...
See some of our past puppies below, where you can follow them and their life adventures in their new homes!
Caring for dogs and puppies whilst in our care
See below for some insight as to how we care for dogs and puppies whilst in our home. From early socialisation, training, environmental enrichment and boredom busters - through to grooming, desensitisation exercises, playtime, loving and adoring the little puppies, and teaching our rescue dogs how to love back - and seeing where and how our dogs live whilst under our care.
When past puppies come to play!
We love getting to catch up with our past pups or having them come to visit. We look after them as babies, but they remain important to us throughout their whole lives, and we will always love and care for our puppies - even in their new homes, and their new lives. See below for photos of some of our past puppies as they have come back to see us. If you'd like to bring your Cottage Canine back for a visit, contact us and we will arrange it.
