Personality, characteristics and temperament
Loyal companion dogs, that are easily amused by their owners, as their owners are by them. Loving, affectionate and friendly little characters, they love attention and are very playful. Personality plus, these adorable dogs look like baby faced puppies – even as adults! After a good walk, or time spent playing – you will find your puppy or dog curled up asleep! Easily pleased, the Cava Tzu is a happy little dog, that gets along well with children and other pets when socialized from a young age.
Grooming your Cava Tzu
Cava Tzu grooming will vary on the coat type and clip or style you choose for your pet. Cava Tzu puppies with a longer coat will require more regular brushing (roughly every other day, a quick brush while watching the TV will do just fine) where as Cava Tzu’s with a shorter ‘puppy clip’ will not require as frequent brushing. Bathing with a puppy shampoo every 3 – 4 weeks is recommended (more regularly than this can cause skin irritations, and alter natural pH levels). For in-between washes a puppy perfume is recommended for a lovely fresh scent.
Training your Cava Tzu
Intelligent yet playful little doggies, the Cava Tzu is smart and easy to train though can be easily distracted at times. With patience and giving your dog guidance, you will have great success. Both food rewards and positive reinforcement are recommended. Puppy preschool is also great for socialization and key skills.
